A Fine Frenzy - Come On Come Out

Incoming picture spam of my downtown adventures with Jayne and Margo. I always enjoy walking around downtown with them (: They started at Margo's loft, then I met them at Soi 7. We walked back to Margo's loft again, then walked to Atlas Sewing Supplies, where I got a bunch of cone threads. We went to FIDM, which was actually the whole point of this outing, but we couldn't take pics there.  We went to see some Costumes from Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland.  It was amazing. The detailing was exquisite. Colleen Atwood is my absolute favourite costume designer. I want to meet and work with her at some point in life. Then we went to FIDM store, I was really disappointed that they were out of mannequins already. 

Then we walked back, passed by and stopped at California Millinery. Like.... LOVE. That place is like.... it's like a dream. Candy store, cave full of treasures, attic, hole in the wall full of *magic* I took a bunch of pics. The owner is very nice (: I got a handful of things, I'll take pics of them later.

We stopped by Atlas Sewing Supplies again, after that, they were right across the street, then we stopped by syrup desserts, got tangerine mint teas, and headed back to Margo's again. We sat around a little, we ate Jayne's seafood curry in a coconut leftovers, and then! We watched Fried Green Tomatoes. The movie was actually pretty good, and the costumes were surprisingly... timeless/classic.
