Suzanne Lee of School of Fashion & Textiles at Central Saint Martins is growing fibers from bacteria, essentially felting them together, and sewing clothes from them. Insane.
Guerrilla gardener Steve Wheen is planting lil gardens in potholes in London. Awesome.So now.... I'm just going to spam pics from Sunday, when Dana, Pangra, and I went to the Rose Bowl Flea Market in Pasadena. It was hot, and we walked around for hours, and we all got a little bit sunburnt and tanned. Heh. Dana bought pieces of antique lace, an industrial crate, and a small cart. I got a cuff, and a broken, but beautiful wooden floral wall hanging thing. And Pangra got soda and a hotdog :D
