So I've actually been fairly busy lately. Just lots of things going on. Fun stuff! So this is going to be that post where I just cram as much as possible in :P

We will start with Cheezy. Samson, aka Cheezy, is my kdmate from utopia. He went to school in NYU, but he just graduated, so he came home to Calabasas, outside of LA, some weeks ago. So we were like ZOMG, WE MUST MEET AND GO DO FUN STUFF. So we went ice skating at Culver City Ice Arena with Lena. So I've never ice skated before. I spent half the time hugging the wall, and the other half being pulled by Cheezy. Hahaha. I fell a few times, yeah. ROFL. Almost literally ROFL. -__-;; Lena used to ice skate, so she was all like :D :) I was all like >_< >.o Cheezy was like (づ｡>‿‿<｡)づ When we were done ice skating, Lena had to go home, so Cheezy and I went to the Grove to watch Toy Story 3. We both cried. ;-; Yeah. I don't even cry at movies, but it was that good :O

A few days later, I'm like... Cheezy, let's go play badminton with Lena! And he comes, but we end up just making him take us to go buy badminton rackets and shuttlecocks. LOL We decided to go karaoke instead! But we wanted to eat first, so we ended up at the Farmers Market. They bought treats for their dogs, and I got dinner at The Gumbo Pot, and they waited in the long ass line for Pampas Grill. Hehe. Then we were off to k-town for karaoke, haha. We ended up at Vermont Karaoke. I am really bad at singing, but Cheezy and Lena are uber fun :D Lena was good :D I've never seen her sing before, LOLOL. Cheezy sang a lot of gay songs :D XDDDD

Then again, that Saturday, for my horribly late and wtf nonevent birthday celebration, we decided to go bbq at Griffith Park. We were all running late (except Cheezy), and a crapload of people couldn't make it ;-; cause of things like- having a baby, sister-in-law having a baby, being sick, flying home, falling down stairs... -__-;; So sis grilled stuff... charcoal sucked, Lena brought Coco and he was marking all the trees :P, Cheezy bought 5 boxes of Cheez-Its, Dana was also running late and brought the foil that we needed to grill, cause the grill was so gross ;-;, and Ila also came very late, but oh so pretty! :D After that, we went to Cherry on Top in Little Tokyo, and then arcade, and then we went to watch Knight and Day at LA Live. We were gonna see Toy Story 3 again, but Cheezy got a free ticket to Knight and Day when he went to buy his ticket. Some lady left it :P

Then came Anime Expo. AX is a lot of fun :D I volunteered again, but it was fairly ok lame this time. Probably cause I went by myself, and waiting to volunteer was like so many hours just sitting there :P But that was Thursday, first day of AX. It was fun, once we were working the doors of a couple panels, though. Was pretty insane. I'll grabbed a pic from the guy I met and volunteered with (: I also met with Cheezy and his siblings and their friend on Friday, 2nd day of AX. I missed my chance at getting him to crossdress ;-; Saturday, sis and I went to AX, running late, etc, cause we stayed up the night before, watching Ponyo. I LOVE Ponyo. :D I'm a Hayao Miyazaki fan, I guess :P We just went around looking at the booths in the Exhibition Hall, and we caught the last part of Kamikaze Girls (LOL, LOVE that movie!), and saw a few anime, like Casshern, D.Gray-Man (I've only seen bits and parts of this anime before that, but now I'm like... OBSESSED with Allen. ;-;), and Kyo Kara Maoh. But sis and I were tired, so we left around 8 pm, and just went to syrup desserts for crepe. It was good times, yeah!

Working the doors of the Avatar panel... ^that was a TINY bit of the line... it actually went all the way back of that hallway, around, then into another hallway, came back, and then went on to another hallway... it was a bit intense.

When the panel for the 18+ bishoujo games started and everyone was in the room, a bunch of 17 year olds came by the hallway and entertained us a lot. That Mexican Avatar kid^ took one of his friends' guitar and started singing to passersby. He cajoled, he begged, he chased people. LOL. It was HILARIOUS. He was awesome. :D He was really good, too. Reminded me a bit of Aldrine.

The girls who won a karaoke contest did a lil dance, haha. This was before they got in trouble, cause people were giving him money. LOL

These OMFG ADORABLE furries were dancing to Nena's 99 Red Balloons in front of the yaoi booth. Before AX, I was like ehh, whatever about furries, but after seeing a bunch of them, I'm all like OMG SOOOOOO CUTE!! Like human sized, moving stuffed anmals :O ;-; !!!

Sis and I got crepes, then she OWNED me hardcore at scrabble. ;-; 189 vs 293 ;-; I got like 5 I tiles for a while ;-;

This is me, failing at being a cat lady. Sis and I house sat for her former coworker again, so I got to spend 4th of July weekend chilling with Tai Tai. But she doesn't like it when I hug and carry her :P

Sunday morning Filipino food feast. Ube cake from Goldilocks, palabok, chicken, and tapsilog+bangus from Chow King. We even got pandesal from Goldilocks, haha. We ate this while watching Ponyo :D

She's soooooooooo fluffy. She's just made of FLUFF. She's actually quite skinny, but just soooo fluffy. When I first saw her again, I wasn't entirely sure it was her, or maybe she'd lost a lot of weight or something, cause they trimmed her fur a bit :P She's actually usually even fluffier -__-;; I'm just in love with her.

Tai Tai and I spent the rest of 4th of July Sunday napping, after watching Ponyo. Ponyo rocks. Then, after we woke up in the afternoon, we just sat around on the couch, watching Ratatouille a few times, while I cut up vintage dresses. Tai Tai snuggled up to me and stuff :D Sis was too lazy to drive somewhere to go watch fireworks, but I was pretty happy!

I scanned and cleaned flats up for a group in my portfolio while watching more episodes of D.Gray-Man. I'm pretty happy with it. I am going to draw new stuff, and make paperdolls, because I like the look of this.

Last Saturday, Lena had to go get her car checked, so we went out. They were having some open house thing in my apt building. They usually have balloons in front, but they had A LOT that day. I *HAD* to go back upstairs to grab the camera, and make Lena park, so she could take this^ pic of me. LOL. I like balloons :D

We ended up at Glendale Galleria, and then walked over to the Americana. The elevator there is SO pretty.

Saturday night was Dana's birthday dinner, we went to Pete's Cafe downtown, and it was nice to see a bunch of people again :D Sydelle and Eva even gave me late birthday presents cause they couldn't come the other Saturday (Eva had a new baby :D, and Sydelle fell down stairs -__-;;;;;;) :P

Aaaaand the end! :D Sunday, I went to the Rose Bowl Flea Market with Dana and Pangra, but that will be a crapload of pics and will need a new post :P
